Working with the people making the decisions

Working with the people making the decisions

Consumer credit is shaped by different perspectives, responsibilities and pressures. Lenders need to balance growth with risk. Investors and funders need confidence in the businesses and portfolios they support. Fintechs and startups need practical guidance as they build, launch and scale. Technology partners need sector understanding that complements their capability. Pilot Money works with each audience in context, bringing an independent view, commercial judgement and experience that helps turn complexity into a clearer path forward.

Turn ambition into a plan

Charles Ulm was more than a member of the crew. His skills, judgement and determination helped turn ambitious aviation plans into reality.

Pilot Money brings that same practical mindset to consumer credit — working alongside organisations to navigate complexity, solve difficult problems and make progress with confidence.

Who is Charles Ulm?

Charles Ulm (1898–1934) embodied the courage, vision and determination that define great pilots. After serving with distinction at Gallipoli and on the Western Front during World War I, he returned to Australia with an ambition to transform commercial aviation. Ulm co-piloted the historic Southern Cross flight from California to Brisbane in 1928, helping establish Australia’s place in global aviation. A skilled organiser and pioneering aviator, he later set multiple long-distance flight records in partnership with Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and in his own aircraft. His final journey ended tragically when Stella Australis disappeared over the Pacific, leaving a lasting legacy in Australian aviation history.
